St. Patty's Day

St. Patty's Day in Dublin wasn't like anything I've ever been part of. There were upwards of 650,000 people in the streets that day to watch the parade and celebrate. Our plan was to ride the bus to do the Guinness Brewery tour in the morning and then find a spot to watch the parade, but that didn't happen. The buses were on different routes because of the parade so we got dropped off in a different place. When we finally made it to Guinness, the parade was already starting. By the time we were done at the brewery the parade was over, but we made our way back through town and everyone was still out celebrating. All in all, we figure we walked about 10 miles. It was a pretty fun day, even though we missed the parade; Guinness is pretty Irish! I did try to find some green beer, but apparently that's more of an American thing because none of the bars near our hotel were serving any.

Here's some pictures of the day:

These were supposed to be in some kind of order, but for some reason they didn't turn out that way.... but I'm too lazy to go and fix them.
